About Elite Excavation & Demolition

Meet the Owner: Jason Legnon

I'm Jason Legnon, owner of Elite Excavation & Demolition, based in New Iberia, Louisiana. I started the company to provide excavation, demolition, and property services for residential and commercial customers throughout the surrounding Acadiana area.

Excavation work is rarely one-size-fits-all. Every property has different access, terrain, existing structures, vegetation, drainage conditions, and plans for future use. That's why I prefer to see the site and understand what you want to accomplish before determining the work involved.

Whether you need an unwanted structure removed, overgrown property cleared, a pond excavated, or ground prepared for its next use, I provide free on-site estimates to get the process started.

Excavation & Demolition Services for Your Property

Elite Excavation & Demolition handles a variety of projects for homeowners, property owners, and commercial customers.

Some projects require one specific service, while others involve several stages. Demolishing an old structure may lead to debris removal or dirt work. Clearing overgrown property may reveal stumps that need to be removed before grading can begin. A gravel driveway project may also involve grading, drainage, or a culvert at the property entrance.

When services overlap, I can look at the broader project during the site visit and discuss the work that applies to your property.

A Site-Focused Approach to Every Project

Before excavation begins, it's important to understand what is already on the property and what you want the site to become.

During an on-site evaluation, I can look at the work area, available equipment access, nearby property features, terrain, and other conditions relevant to the job. You can also explain your plans for the area once the excavation, clearing, or demolition is complete.

This approach is especially useful for projects where one stage affects another. Instead of looking only at what's being removed or excavated, I can consider how the work fits into your overall plans for the property.

Equipment for Excavation & Site Work

I use compact excavators and a track loader for applicable excavation, demolition, land clearing, and dirt-work projects.

The equipment needed depends on the scope and conditions of each job. When a project requires larger equipment, arrangements can be made based on the work involved.

Access is another important consideration. Fences, buildings, trees, driveways, terrain, and available working space can affect how equipment reaches the project area. These are some of the factors I can evaluate during your free on-site estimate.

Residential & Commercial Excavation

I work with both residential and commercial customers.

Residential projects may include clearing acreage, removing an old shed or garage, digging a pond, preparing a gravel driveway, addressing drainage, removing stumps, or completing dirt work around the property.

Commercial projects may involve demolition, clearing, grading, property access, debris removal, or other site-preparation needs.

The goal is to evaluate the actual property rather than assume every residential or commercial project requires the same approach.
